Definitions of Terms & Conditions
- ‘Budget Motorhome Rental’ means BUDGET Milton Location de Voitures SAS
- ‘Customer’ means the person or persons nominated as the hirer under the heading 'Hire Details' on the Insurance Motor Rental Agreement and any person whose credit card is presented in payment of the customer's charges.
- ‘Rental period’ means the hire period referred to under the heading 'Booking Details' on the Rental Agreement or any agreed variation thereof and any additional period during which the Vehicle is in the customer's possession or control.
- ‘Living equipment’ includes but is not limited to DVD player, CD player, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils.
- ‘Vehicle’ means the Vehicle described under the heading 'Vehicle Details' on the Rental Agreement and includes tyres, tools, accessories, the living equipment and any other special equipment, documents related to the Vehicle and any replacement or substitute vehicle which may be provided at the discretion of Budget Motorhome Rental.
CDW
CDW at €15 per day will reduce the excess for any damage caused in a collision to either the Vehicle or third party property to €500.The Hirer will however be fully liable for replacement or repair to windscreen or tyre damage. Applies in respect of each claim, not Rental. Please note that the CDW Insurance is completely optional and can be decided upon collection of your vehicle. Please note overhead damage is not covered under CDW because of the (unusual) height of the Motorhome. Extra care must be taken not to drive under an obstruction that is too low for it to clear i.e. low bridges. In this event Collision Damage Waiver Insurance will not apply and the Hirer will be responsible for the insurance excess of €3000.
Vehicle
All Vehicles may only be driven on sealed and/or bitumen roads.
- sublet or rent the Vehicle to someone else,
- allow or permit the Vehicle to be driven otherwise than in a cautious and prudent way,
- allow or permit the Vehicle to be driven in a prohibited area,
- allow or permit the Vehicle to be driven by a person under the influence of alcohol or drugs or with a blood alcohol level in excess of that permitted by law in the Country, State or Territory where the Vehicle is driven,
- allow or permit the Vehicle to be driven by persons under the age of 21 years, or who are not authorized by maw to drive the Vehicle,
- left with the ignition key in the Vehicle while it is unoccupied,
- allow or permit the Vehicle to be used for any illegal purpose, race, and contest or rally of any kind,
- allow or permit the Vehicle be used to tow or push anything,
- damage the Vehicle by submersion in water,
- damage the Vehicle by contact with Salt Water,
- use the Vehicle to carry more persons than is permitted by any relevant authority or detailed in the Vehicle manual or on the Vehicle or specified in this Agreement,
- use the Vehicle to carry volatile liquids, gases, explosives or other corrosive or inflammable material,
- use the Vehicle in breach of his obligations under this Agreement
- use the Vehicle in breach of any legislation , regulations, rules or laws in relation with road traffic
- Responsability
The Hirer must :
- take all reasonable steps to properly maintain the Vehicle, including oil checks, water and batteries . The Hirer will be reimbursed for expenditure reasonably incurred in rectifying any mechanical failure to the drive train and engine of the Vehicle (not including the water system, refrigerator, heating, audio and DVD equipment ) Provided that:
- the Hirer has received the prior consent of Budget Motorhome Rental,
- pay for the cost of repairing or replacing tyres damaged during the Rental Period PROVIDED THAT Budget Motorhome Rental will reimburse him for expenditure reasonably incurred if :
- the tyre is defective and is returned by the Hirer to Budget Motorhome Rental for inspection,
- the manufacturer accepts liability under his warranty
- notify Budget Motorhome Rental within 24 hours of the happening of the event,
- obtain the names and addresses of third parties and any witnesses and report the event to the nearest police station

Cancellation charges
More than 31 days before: 15% of total hire charge
20 – 8 days before: 60% of total hire charge
Less than 7 days before: total hire charge
